Delicious dinner. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Reportedly a great selection of wines: they claimed to have more than 300 labels, we ordered only one but we ended up being quite happy with it. Some very good ideas: caprese salad with peaches instead of tomatoes. A must try if you are in Ventimiglia’s old town and in search of a great meal.

Freshly cooked authentic food in the Old Town of Ventimiglia. Worth making the effort to get up to this part of town and wander round the narrow streets. Alla Farmacia is on the main street and has some tables at the front under parasols. Menu is short and locally based, tasty dishes including rabbit and pasta with beans. Tiramisu interesting if a little runny. Good wine by the glass or bottle.

This is the best restaurant in Ventimiglia Alta. Samuel and his team offer a fantastic service, food in a charming setting with good music.I keep coming back and recommend it to everyone who passes in the area!Update 2024 July:I keep coming back. Samuel just offered a selection of 4 Barbarescos from a selection of over 300 wines in his cellar, decanted the elixir and served it with passion.In the background blue music.What’s more to want?

It was an absolute pleasure to stumble across this place in old ventimiglia. Casually popped across from Menton for lunch and we were wowed. Intense flavours, gorgeous location and very homey feel. Possibly the best lunch I've ever had.

Lovely local high-quality ingredients cooked with love and knowledge. The best place to dine in Ventimiglia Alta, absolutely a must if you come visit this lovely medieval town. Wonderful music, kind and smiley staff and amazing location.

My wife and I travel to Liguria regularly and Alla Farmacia is a very special place we enjoy for dinner or lunch.The staff is wonderful, welcoming and caring for us as friends.The food is fresh and unique. The menu features new items daily based on high quality foods they find at the market. We love their antipasti, pastas vegetable dishes and meats. And, we always feel we get a great value.If you get a chance, go for dinner and sit outside. It’s a wonderful off-the-beaten-path setting in the old historic center of Ventimiglia Alta.Then enjoy a beautiful stroll and view from Ventimiglia Alta after dinner.
